Medisoft has sent out emails to everyone today to confirm their registration with the Medisoft portal to input Cataract Post Op information. Please check your junk folders for the email.

 

If you have not recieved an email and you are registered with the Cataract Module on Opotomanger please email Ankur Trivedi by email (clinical@peglos.org.uk) in the first instance.

12/12/2016 - Children's Vision Service

 

PEG had a launch event on the 7th December. The event was led by PEG Operations Director - Kerry Irvine and local optometrist - Kevin Tait. Thank you to Communications Director, Dermot Keogh for hosting the event at his practice in Cheltenham.

 

Attendance at the event is not mandatory for participation in the service.

 

The service goes live on 4th January 2017, and referrals should start to arrive in practice around the end of January 2017.

All optical practices in Gloucestershire have recently been sent a letter from Dr Graham Mennie GP Lead, Eye Health, Gloucestershire Clinical Comissioning Group (CCG). The letter states the CCG will be purchasing Enhanced Community Optometry services from Primary Eyecare Gloucestershire (PEG) from May 2016. Please make sure PEG/Glos LOC have your most up to date contact information so we can keep you updated on this exciting development.
